Salut. Bye. It’s Over

Yup the habs season is done. Swept in 4 games to the hands of the Boston Bruins. I used my un hard earned money to go to the game live…..and man was I ever dissapointed. Not really what i saw on the ice, but mostly what i heard and saw off of it.

Yea yea the habs didnt play to well but whatever, Boston was better and im not gonna get into that. What really pissed me off or “wet the bear” was the montreal canadiens fans. I dont even really want to call them fans, basically from now on they will be called DRUNK IDIOT BAND WAGON JUMPERS  WHO DONT KNOW HOCKEY AND WEAR RED WHITE AND BLUE JERSEYS WITH A CH ON THE FRONT.  These people boo the team they supposibly love, chuck stuff on the ice, make sarcastic applauds to a 21 year old goaltender and chuck beer at Boston Bruin Fans. That just puts a great image on the city. I’m not saying all fans are like that, actually a true habs fan or even hockey fan wouldnt do that, its just those DRUNK IDIOT BAND WAGON JUMPERS WHO DONT KNOW HOCKEY AND WEAR RED WHITE AND BLUE JERSEYS WITH A CH ON THE FRONT.

The world of sports is a beautiful thing, you get to chear for who you want and thats fine. A bruins fan walks into the building thats fine with me, you dont trash my team i dont trash yours. Even the habs and bruins players hate eachother, but after their series they shook hands. But i guess these DRUNK IDIOT BAND WAGON JUMPERS WHO DONT KNOW HOCKEY AND WEAR RED WHITE AND BLUE JERSEYS WITH A CH ON THE FRONT didnt know this cuz they dont know sports and started throwing beer on fans and starting chants of F*** YOU BOSTON. The greatest thing i saw at the game (which showed signs of real fans) was a bunch of canadiens fans high fiving or shaking the hand of a boston fan at the end of the game . And then in return that boston fan stood up on his feet and clapped for the habs as they saluted the crowd. Thats what sports is all about….RESPECT. But i guess thats what happens when you just sell the tickets online, these DRUNK IDIOTS WHO DONT KNOW HOCKEY AND WEAR RED WHITE AND BLUE JERSEYS WITH A CH ON THE FRONT get them and use the game as an excuse to get drunk and do whatever they want and chant for people who arent a part of the team anymore….Carbo, even Huet? Come on thats just a sign of those people being desperate. Being a fan is a 24/7 job, not popping in  when times are good. But Montreal is pretty bottom at the list when it comes to class. Whatever im a true fan and just a fan of sports so i salute the Bruins and wish them luck in their upcoming series.

Now to the loss, yea it hurts but i think in the long run it will help us out. We will look back on it as the turning point to our stanley cup run in the upcoming future. Will all these guys on our team becoming free agents Bob Gainey now knows this isnt the team that can win it all, so he can blow it up, maybe finally get Lecavalier. We will totally have a new look team this year which is interesting. Might of been the last game for Saku Koivu as a hab. If it was then I would just like to thank him for his dedication to the game, not the greatest player in the world but definately one of the biggest hearts. Maybe Kovalev to, the only player who at one shift can be the worst player but in another could be the best. And to the rest of them, if you dont come back next year, I thank you for what you did while you were here, and you will definately be on my fantasy hockey team next year cuz its a proven fact Habs players always do better the year after they leave the team.

So yea the season is definately over.  Now that the team is out most of us will forget about hockey and go back to focusing on their studies or their summer plans. The others will continue to watch hockey, envious of all the other teams fans that get to watch their team march on in the month of may. Hoping that one day those fans will be us. Waking up on hot summers day in late may or early June and while little kids are running outside with their T-shirts and shorts, others tanning or swimming because of the hot sun, we will throw on our heavy jerseys over our head and still be wearing the CH. Still thinking about frozen water and our heroes in the red white and blue that skate upon it. That year obviously will not be this one, not for us atleast. But the boys will be back soon, the weather will get cooler and the leaves will be failing and that only means one thing, hockey is back. Until then we wait, wait to see what the team will do during the offseason and when we can start talking Habs again.  THAT’S IT FOR ME. And for one last time…

…..GO HABS GO!
